Our HVLS Fans can be used in many different locations, whether commercial or industrial. It is most effective and useful when installed in places with poor insulation and air flow.
WHAT CAN OUR FAN DO FOR YOU?
As AireGard HVLS fans’ blades slowly rotate, they effectively move air at 3 to 5 miles per hour. This air movement is sufficient to break up the moisture-saturated boundary layer that surrounds our bodies. As sweat evaporates, a cooling effect is produced. When in use, AireGard’s HVLS fans are capable of lowering the ambient temperature from between 2 to 4 degrees celcius within their coverage area.
AireGard’s HVLS fans can help save costs in many ways. Its low energy consumption powertrain saves you money by being energy-efficient. With its effective air disbursement, HVLS fans are a cost effective and ideal solution for cooling large facilities; as a standalone system or with air conditioning. When used together with an air conditioning system, the fan’s slow and steady airflow can reduce or even completely eliminate the need for costly and inefficient air conditioning ductwork.
Quiet Operation Level
Our HVLS fans are not only energy efficient, but also much more conducive to a quieter work environment than the air conditioning system. HVLS commercial ceiling fans start off powerfully and smoothly and continue to operate in that smooth quiet manner. Air conditioning system, on the other hand, start off and continue to operate in a noisy manner, at random points during the day, as air pushes through the vents. The noise from the system and vents produces a less than desirable working environment as it disrupts phone calls and causes people to speak at higher decibels. This in turn creates even more noise which can be irritating to the ear.
Reduce Excessive Humidity
Ideal humidity levels are important in a space, not just for the well-being of its occupants, but also for the long-term safeguarding of equipment and goods. AireGard HVLS fans are most effective in maintaining a constant temperature, as well reducing excessive humidity. As the fans generate air movement, they break up moisture-saturation, alleviating humidity.
Efficient Air Movement
AireGard HVLS fans’ airfoil styled blade design produces a massive, cylindrical column of air that flows down to the floor and outward in all directions, creating a horizontal floor jet that consistently circulates air in large spaces. This “horizontal floor jet” pushes air a greater distance before it is pulled back vertically toward the blades creating a slow and steady air movement.
AireGard’s HVLS fans can provide superior ventilation capabilities by continuously mixing incoming fresh air with stale air, thus minimizing the total amount of ventilation required to achieve adequate air quality. No other industrial fan, system, or ventilation technology does this better.
HVLS Fans with AC
HVLS fans are able to reduce thermal loads, electricity use and cooling times. Because they are able to circulate air so efficiently, HVLS fans reduce the load of a building’s AC system in many ways. In spaces with large, relatively open floor plans, air-conditioned air can be moved farther with less ductwork and reduced tonnage. Thanks to the destratifying effect (the mixing of air in order to eliminate layers of air at different temperatures) of HVLS fans, thermostats can be adjusted to more energy-efficient settings.
